B - I'm a real fan of your "what to do" picture posts. What I like about them, is also what I like about the work of Winogrand, Friedlander and Atget. If you'd like to know what that is, let me know, but I don't mean to say your work looks like theirs. Nevertheless, you're in good company. Thanks for displaying the pix. I hope the series continues.

Thanks for the comment. I have my own ideas about how my photos are inspired by W, F, & A (3 of my favorites) but I'm interested to hear your take.

The series will continue for as long as this blog continues. Can't say how long that might be.

By standing in a certain place at a certain time, and framing in a certain way, you create a dynamic between the elements within the frame that only exists within the context of that frame. I guess that could be said of most photographs, but when all things come together, the dialogue that occurs between the viewer and the photograph is continuous. Which sounds like a lot of hokum, but with certain photographs you can keep coming back and get something from or bring something to again and again. In the "what to do" pictures there's also an element of a puzzle needing to be solved (sometimes more than one) that I like...little epiphanies. Or maybe I'm a simpleton. Nevertheless I'm enjoying the pictures.
