I'm a straight photographer but I agree with Colberg.
Thanks, Ben. Could you be more specific? What points do you agree with or disagree with?
During the century or so in which most photography was straight photography, the art market was virtually closed to it. This may have made it more difficult for photographers to eat, but easier to go out and take pictures of the world.
In all the talk about Graham's presentation, the thing that strikes me most is how quickly we've forgotten John Szarkowski. He understood all of this.
