I've been making color photographs for a few years now but it was only recently that I realized I haven't been correcting for
cosmic background color. Damn! I knew something seemed off. Now I'll have to reprint everything, unless of course I can find another universe to move to with better light. For the time being
fiat lux gets an asterisk.
Here's the universal color cast for anyone curious.

Wow, identical to the Nikon A2 filter.
Camera Raw shipping with CS5 comes with the "Universal Cosmic Color Cast Balance" tool. Should resolve the need to destructively correct in Photoshop ;-)
