One of the hardest things to achieve as a photographer is a unique recognizable style, the type of style that brings the instant reaction, "That must be a photo by
X." Most photographers work for decades in order to develop this, and only the very best succeed.
But, hard as that may be, I think the greater challenge may be to escape one's style. Perhaps the thing to strive for is to avoid any pigeonholing whatsoever.
