Georg Parthen must be reading my mind. He's one step ahead of me, photographing all these amazing exotic places that I've always wanted to visit. It's a shame they don't exist.

I was mostly basing my statement on Parthen's description: "I take photos and detailed photographic studies from which I later create images that range from slightly altered to complete digitally composed photographic images." The alteration in the dam shot (besides horizontal flipping) is quite subtle, and the place definitely looks worth visiting.
It makes me wonder about the other sites, and what they might look like unaltered.
