I'm still in the April Fool's mood, although the photo below is no joke. It shows a sample spread from the latest book on my nightstand. Fellow bibliophiles should notice right away that this book is unique. In fact, I've never seen another book with this highly unusual characteristic. A free print goes to the first person to identify what makes it so special.
Is it the odd page numbers being on the left and the even ones on the right?
ReplyDeleteNice. Email me your address and the print is yours.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that's pretty strange !
ReplyDeletedamn, beat me to it.
ReplyDeleteThey're rather oddly placed in general, as well. cool stuff.
Good book?
The reason they look oddly placed is that the whole book actually suffered a printing error which skipped a page in the beginning so that all following pages were offset by one page. So the layout is for regular numbering but the actual printing reversed that. I'm not sure how widespread the error is but I doubt it extends to all copies of the book. And yes it's worth reading.
